New loveliness has been added to the ~Sun*Kissed Designs Hair and Body Accessories Boutique~!! The Hand Beaded Headband, Hand Beaded Floral Headscarf and the Hand Beaded Flower Headband are 3 beautiful alternatives to the traditional wedding veil! Chamberlin Photography in Stafford, VA contacted Sun*Kissed Designs for a few custom headpieces and 3 different looks were created! Check back for the images that Chamberlin Photography used the pieces in.

On Sunday September 18th, Sun*Kissed Designs participated in the roaming fashion show during the What'sUp? Annapolis Weddings Crofton Bridal Showcase!! The Crofton Country Club is the beautiful venue that hosted the event. The room was beautifully decorated with vendor tables and booths all set to help excited brides-to-be find the perfect elements for their big day! With great giveaways and demonstrations, the bridal showcase was interactive from start to finish!! The table from Sun*Kissed Designs was beautiful and inviting (and my helpful staff was handsome and knowledgeable!)And the roaming fashion show added to all of the excitement!

Sun*Kissed Designs shared 7 gowns and 5 veils from the current line. Jewelry to accompany the gowns was provided by Little Treasury Jewelers and hair and make-up was provided by Robert Andrews The Salon and Spa. All of the selections displayed how easy it is to have a handmade, couture gown made for your wedding day...in any season!

Blissful Wedding Gown and Joy Wedding Gown took the stage first showing how beautiful a spring and winter wedding can be! The Blissful Wedding Gown is perfect for spring with its strong satin and high, full rosette collar that compliments the often unpredictable weather during the springtime. The Joy Wedding Gown with its removable silk ruffle collar and heavy matte satin gown with full hand beaded neckline showed how beautiful (and warm!) a winter wedding gown can be!

The Timeless Wedding Gown was displayed next and brings a romantic touch to any fall wedding with the removable, hand beaded point d'esprit lace ruffle collar and cream satin double v-neckline gown with hand beaded lace florets!

The late spring and summer inspired gowns were the Light As Air Wedding Gown and the Splendid Wedding Gown! The Light As Air Wedding Gown is perfect for a summer beach wedding with its thin lightest cream shantung fabric and off white, asymmetric hand beaded collar! And the Splendid Wedding Gown is perfect for late spring with the bouquet of handmade hand beaded flowers along the full collar and the intricate hand beading on the white crepe back satin bodice!

The final two gowns rounded out the breathtaking collection! The Serene Wedding Gown and the Lovely Wedding Gown, great for summer and winter, beautifully displayed the intricate and outstanding designs that are signature of all of the gowns! The Serene Wedding Gown has a full beaded front bodice with large ornate hand beaded rosettes in a soft white crepe back satin. And the Lovely Wedding Gown features a plunging v-neckline with large hand beaded bodice rosettes and a stunning removable silk velvet caplet in cream heavy matte satin!

Hand beaded Veils in blusher, full and waist lengths were worn with the gowns and a excited bride-to-be won the hand beaded fingertip length veil worth $100 with extensive hand beading!!

This was a bridal showcase to remember with amazing local vendors in a beautiful local setting! Be sure to catch Sun*Kissed Designs at future events!

The Mermaid Veil Line!!

I am so pleased and happy to unveil (pun partially intended!) the Mermaid Veil Line!! The new veils are inspired by the current Sand and Shore gown line as well as just prettiness and mermaidism!! The veils come in varying lengths from Blusher to Cathedral and all styles in between. Each veil is hand beaded and completely different from the next!! I hope you enjoy the peak of them that I am posting here! Request to see them up close...because all mermaids are better seen up close!!
